The first step to format your computer is to obtain a disk, CD, installation of Windows XP.
Then must make sure your PC does boot from the CD-room. For the default boot is made from hard disk. To change this if your PC turned on press F12 to enter the BIOS. In the window that will open us up looking boot menu. it should be used arrows select the CD-room.
Then insert the cd and do restart the PC.
When your PC will turn on you come to a type msg "Press any key to boot from cd", in this moment to press a button any tastieres.
Will open the formatting menu. Read carefully and select the options you want. See explanations in the following figures.
